H2M architects + engineers hires Cline as practice leader for the Long Island Water Market

Melville, NY Joseph Cline has joined H2M architects + engineers as a practice leader for the Long Island Water Market. He has 28 years of experience within the civil engineering, government, and consulting fields.

Cline  brings significant experience and leadership to H2M. He began his engineering career in 1991 as a consulting engineer specializing in municipal engineering. He then joined the town of Huntington in April 2012 as director of engineering services. In this role, he directed the operation of the four divisions of engineering services: engineering design, building department, fire prevention, and the Dix Hills Water District. He was responsible for the management of a $6 million annual operating budget and a $5 million annual capital budget.

Cline graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is also a licensed New York State Professional Engineer.

His new role of practice leader at H2M, he will be working closely with existing water and municipal clients providing project management and client management to many of the important infrastructure projects across Long Island.  He will also be creating the H2M Water University, a series of videos that will assist H2M engineers in developing their technical expertise for the Water Department.
