Fellow Barber opens 400 s/f shop at Chelsea Market

August 16, 2016 - Shopping Centers

New York, NY Fellow Barber has officially opened at Chelsea Market on the heels of its 10th anniversary in business. This is the barbershop’s sixth location in total, with four in New York City and two in San Francisco.

The shop will occupy a 400 s/f space in Chelsea Market with four chairs. As with all of their locations, Fellow Barber will offer their original, specially-crafted line of men’s grooming products and have expertly trained talent on staff.

“We’re proud to be part of such a great institution like Chelsea Market,” said Sam Buffa, founder of Fellow Barber. “As always, Fellow Barber is excited to provide great services to a new neighborhood. This shop really takes us back to our roots on Freeman's Alley with our first shop in 2006 – the intimacy and layout are similar and should inspire great community.”

Since opening on Manhattan’s Lower East Side ten years ago, Buffa – whose team has trained some of the best barber talent in the city – aims to provide a service-focused, contemporary client experience.  The Fellow Barber concept is the answer to this “barber culture” and offers patrons another option between inexpensive, low-quality grooming and the high-end, oft-expensive salon experience.

Fellow Barber’s Chelsea Market location will operate Monday – Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday – Sunday 10am to 6pm. In addition to their standard walk-ins welcome policy, Fellow Barber is now accepting online appointments for added client convenience through their website: www.fellowbarber.com.

Including its new Chelsea Market location, Fellow Barber shops can be found in New York City in SoHo, the West Village and Williamsburg, Brooklyn; and in San Francisco in Mid Market and Mission District.
