It’s 1.1 million s/f became a property that brought the community together with amenities such as a public atrium and a skating rink in the winter that hosted an annual holiday tree lighting. Today, and even having a new official name (RXR Plaza), this office property will forever be associated with DeMatteis and EAB.
Currently, DeMatteis is focusing its attention on new prospects in the metropolitan area, with a keen interest in developing large multifamily projects. Drawing on an impressive portfolio of previously constructed and developed high-rises, DeMatteis can navigate through any obstacles that may arise while remaining acutely mindful of its stakeholders’ and its own best interests.
Although busy with an abundance of work for clients such as the New York City School Construction Authority and Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, the Leon D. DeMatteis Construction Corp. is also currently chasing down leads for private sector work strictly as a third-party construction manager. While multifamily residential is the prime target, DeMatteis also has experience in the commercial, mixed-use and healthcare sectors.
