USGBC Eighth Annual Building Green Long Island Gala.

The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Long Island chapter celebrated their Eighth Annual Building Green Long Island Gala on June 11th at the Hilton Long Island Huntington. Honoree John Corrado, CEO/president of Suffolk Transportation Service, Inc., was named LEED-ER of the Year for his efforts in developing cost-efficient "green" facilities and vehicles that advance the mission of creating a greener Long Island and an environment that improves the quality of life in our communities.
