What year did you start your career in commercial real estate? 2004
What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?
I’m thankful to have been part of the team that designed the headquarters for the New York City Football Club. This is their debut season in Major League Soccer, and we wanted to make sure that the space we designed recreates the same dynamism and excitement off the field as the team radiates on the field. I could not be happier working with such a talented group and the resulting space speaks for itself.
What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why?
I was honored when I was promoted to Principal at TPG Architecture in early 2015 because I was recognized for my commitment and leadership within the firm.
Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?
I seek out technical and emotional support regularly from the mentors who coached me through all the quick fire challenges, specifically Fred Strauss and Alec Zaballero at TPG. I see a lot of value on the expertise they shared with me and I try to be just as helpful and inspiring for the team I lead at TPG. I may not have all the answers, but I am very good at buying treats from Doughnut Plant to mend everyone’s battle scars.
What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning?
Text my 2 and 6 year-old daughters with emoji icons
What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?
Every project always seems like a mad dash, so the best that I can do every day is work as quickly and efficiently as possible while never giving up on my quest to find a working Time Machine.
List 3 women that you would like to have drinks / dinner with and where would you go?
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, graphic designer Paula Scher, and actress/comedian Tina Fey at Hill Country Chicken.
