What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?
Recently, a newly created partnership organization consisting of two major local hospital systems needed the best option for immediate occupancy. We toured only qualified sites, RFP'd landlords, created a scope of work for tenant improvements which included a phased occupancy to match construction completion with business units, data installed, furniture ordered, analyzed financials for the life of the lease, negotiated with the landlord through bureaucracy, board meetings, and political relationships, and had the lease signed in - five weeks!
Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?
My grandparents. They had a work ethic that has helped me navigate very competitive work environments successfully just by knowing I can be a winner on anyone's game board by doing what I'm hired to do and then doing more.
What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning?
Grab coffee and open Salesforce.
3. What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you? Sticking to a routine. It's the way I ensure getting my workout and prospecting in every day.
What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?
My grandmother told me, "Go for the gold. Every time. It's the best way to place."
List 3 women that you would like to have drinks / dinner with and where would you go?
1. Angela Merkel- I would love to go to a small bistro in Paris and listen.
2. Kate Moss- To follow her around London for 24 hrs on a weekend.
3. Susan Wojcicki- Hang out in San Francisco for drinks anywhere she wants.
What is your favorite quote?
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A fashion designer. Then I used the same spreadsheet I used to cost garments to evaluate my first investment property. :)
