What was the best thing that happened to you or your firm in 2014?
We celebrated our 25th anniversary -we launched the business in 1989 and worked hard to plan a careful strategy for growth each year, ensuring that our commitment to quality workmanship remained our number one priority, above and beyond all. To have reached this milestone is a wonder and I applaud the entire team for making it possible.
What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or personal achievement in 2014?
Each project we perform has equal value to us - there are no minor projects! The historic restoration we completed for the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Foyer as part of the MTA Metro-North Grand Central Terminal Legacy Project is one that gives us much pride. We restored the bronze scroll and inscription emblazoned above the door of the main entry vestibule as well as the area's marble walls and terrazzo flooring. We were honored to have played a part in a project that honors Mrs. Onassis for saving one of New York's iconic sites.
