Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt & Associates secures leasing of 5 Westchester CVS locations

Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner of Scarsdale-based Goldschmidt & Associates (G&A) has brokered the leasing of 5 new Westchester CVS locations open or opening in 4th quarter 2014 and 1st quarter 2015.
The new 20,000 s/f CVS in Armonk opened in October, replacing the former A&P. CVS and the property owner improved the entire property with a new drive-thru, parking lot, and modernized building exterior.
In Katonah, CVS purchased the Katonah Pharmacy in The Katonah Shopping Center and plans to open by December 1.
CVS will be opening near December 1, 13,000 s/f in a portion of the former Staples space at 1703 Central Park Ave., just north of Tuckahoe Rd., Yonkers. This will be the second Yonkers store CVS opened on Central Ave. this year having opened a 14,400 s/f store in the former Nathan's location. Representing the 1703 CPA shopping center owner was Nel Rahimzada of Ra-Massi Realty.
Opening in early 2015 will be a 20,000 s/f store on Rt. 119, White Plains formerly occupied by Staples. This will be CVS' second new Rt. 119 location in the past 12 months having recently opened in the former Stop & Shop Center in Tarrytown. The White Plains location is a block away from the Westchester County Center and the northern intersection with Central Park Ave.
Also opening in early 2015 will be a new freestanding 14,000 s/f store in the Chilmark Shopping Center, Briarcliff Manor. This major local center is co-anchored with The Food Emporium.
Goldschmidt and Associates worked in conjunction with T.M. Crowley & Associates.

CVS' expansion in the Hudson Valley is continuing as it is currently seeking sites in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange Counties. The preference is to purchase development sites or existing buildings but CVS will be open to any good opportunities.
