Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. hires Smith as executive assistant

According to Hunt Corporate Services, Inc., George Smith has joined the firm as executive assistant.
"It is with a great deal of pleasure that I welcome Mr. Smith to the team," said David Hunt, president of the firm. "Mr. Smith has a background that includes leadership awards, extensive volunteer experience and communications savvy, so I am sure this will be a positive asset to the firm. "
Smith's experience in the communications field includes his work as an intern with the 2010 Saint Leo University's Senior Gift Campaign, coordinating as a College Brand Ambassador for Monster Energy Drink and being an associate producer and producer for Saint Leo Television. His responsibilities while holding these positions included market research and comparative analysis, event planning and coordination, brand marketing and promotions, editing and producing of media, and customer service. He also has a diverse work and volunteer experience in executive leadership, organizational and budget management and fundraising.
In 2010, Smith graduated from Saint Leo University in Florida, and obtained a bachelor's degree in Communications Management. During his undergraduate career, he was active on campus with student involvement. He was elected and served as president of the Inter-Fraternal Council and Communications Management Club, and as a senator for the Saint Leo Student Government Union. He was also a resident assistant for Marmion Residence Hall. In addition, he served as treasurer and fundraising chair for the Sigma-Theta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. These various leadership roles led to him being awarded honors from the Student Government Union, the Inter-Fraternal Council and the Sigma-Theta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
Before attending college, Smith achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Smith has continued his involvement with scouting by volunteering as an assistant scoutmaster of Troop 32 (Greenlawn) and unit commissioner for the Matinecock District, Suffolk County Council Boy Scouts of America. These positions are vital to the functionality of the Scouting program, and providing a positive extra-curricular leadership program for the youth of Suffolk County.
