According to tw telecom, a leading provider of managed services, including Business Ethernet, converged and IP VPN solutions for enterprises in Manhattan and throughout the U.S., its Manhattan vice president and general manager, Robert Bianco will speak at the Real Estate Tech Forum on the feature panel, “Connecting Tomorrow’s Tenants: The State of Technology in CRE.” The highly anticipated event, sponsored by ReedSmith, LLP, will take place on Thursday, April 10 at ReedSmith’s office at 599 Lexington Ave.

The Real Estate Tech Forum will explore the rise of the technology and creative industries in the New York market, and how tenant demand is growing for not just the city’s steel high rise buildings, but buildings throughout the city, including within the five boroughs. As the tenant demand soars, it is becoming abundantly clear that not all buildings can support the technology needs of tenants in the digital economy.

The event program, featuring Bianco, will delve into the state of connectivity in New York City; highlight new trends in the industry and help landlords understand how they can support the technology needs of today's tenants. Panelists participating in addition to Bianco include Arie Barendrecht, executive director of WiredNYC; Jay Casely, director of leasing for ABS Partners; David Falk, president New York Tri-State Region for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank; and Eric Gertler, director of the Center for Economic Transformation for the New York City Economic Development Council.

"I am honored to be part of such an important discussion on the state of technology and the network throughout our buildings here in Manhattan, and to share my insights with such an integral group of people,” said Bianco. “Access to quality broadband infrastructure here in NYC continues to be a hot topic. On a daily basis, my team and I work with some of the city’s top real estate firms and property managers to ensure that tenants have access to more network connectivity choices, increased redundancy and business continuity throughout all commercial buildings that cater to growing businesses, city-wide.”
