Beating out 560 real estate member firms, Halstead Property was presented with the coveted award of Best Overall Website at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World conference. Halstead.com qualified for this award based on six key areas of evaluation including Usability, Design & Website Content, Interactivity, Customer Service & Client Respect, Leading RE Representation and Search Engine Optimization. Halstead president Diane Ramirez accepted the award together with Jim Gricar, general sales manager; James Cahill, chief information and technology officer; and Sharon Michnay, executive director of corporate business development.
"We take great pride in our website and it's a true honor to be recognized with such a prestigious award," explains Diane Ramirez, president of Halstead Property. "Our in-house Marketing and Technology Divisions designed a fresh, clean look on a platform that is easy to navigate. The ease of use on Halstead.com is extremely important to both our consumers and our Agents - and it's clear that we succeeded in creating the best site and storefront possible!"
In addition, Halstead Property was named a finalist for Transaction of the Year for a challenging real estate deal and was presented with 2nd place at the Awards Event at the conference. Halstead Agent Gerard Splendore from the firm's Brooklyn Heights office wrote about the deal that involved graffiti, skulls and makeshift Murphy bed on crates.
Nearly 2,000 top real estate professionals from 17 countries gathered at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Conference last week at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. According to Leading RE, those in attendance represent more home sales than any real estate network, selling more than 924,000 homes in 2011 (the last full year statistic available) valued at $234.6 billion in the United States.
