Skanska signs PLA for New Jersey Panasonic headquarters; Project to create 600 jobs

Newark, NJ Tom Webb, executive vice president and general manager for Skanska USA's Greater New York region, mayor Cory Booker, and executives from SJP Properties, recently signed a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) to build Panasonic's new North American Headquarters.

Skanska USA, a leading provider of construction management, preconstruction, and design-build services, is responsible for constructing the building, and the project is expected to create 600 jobs. Construction is scheduled for completion during this summer. Once construction is complete, Panasonic will house 800 additional employees at the new headquarters.
