CBRE|Buffalo wins two awards at Annual Western New York Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors Awards Dinner

CBRE|Buffalo received two awards at the annual Western New York Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors. Steve Blake, CCIM, vice president, won the award for Transaction Velocity of the Year. Blake, who specializes in industrial properties, completed 27 lease and sale transactions in 2012. He also received honorable mention as 1st Runner Up for Largest Sale and Largest Lease. Blake's largest sale involved the API facilities in Cheektowaga (164,973 s/f) and Arcade (85,135 s/f), which sold for $6.9 million. The largest lease involved a 150,000 s/f property with Zaepfel Development Co. as the landlord at 1740 Wehrle Dr. Robert Starzynski, CCIM, who specializes in investment sales, won an award for Largest Sale Transaction of the Year, involving the sale of The Woods at Blairville, at 830 Oriole Lane. The Woods at Blairville, which sold for $8.15 million, is a 168-unit apartment complex in Lewiston. The awards for Blake and Starzynski mark CBRE|Buffalo's 9th award from NYSCAR since 2006, not including awards for 1st Runner Up in Sales or Leasing categories.
