Moving to a company that was supportive and professional. What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2010? The Belleview Townhomes-24 Kellogg St., Cortland, N.Y.-46 units sold for $1.45 million. I represented both buyer and seller How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? I am hard working and loyal. I educate myself to as many deals that are in progress or have closed to have the best understanding of the market. What advice would you give to women just starting out in commercial real estate? Its a fun business and if you are willing to give it the commitment that is needed you will succeed. It is very helpful to have at least 6 months of your living expenses saved as deals can take awhile to close and this will lessen the stress.Treat all clients as you would want to be treated with fairness and honesty. How do you manage the work/life balance? By setting priorities, following them and re evaluating them on a regular basis Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career? That person would be Warren Buffet and how he runs his company and treats the people that he does business with. What impact has social networking had on your business? I dont personally use it too much for business but it has helped in keeping in touch with clients and a way for them to know a little more about you.
