Snyder joins SWBR as Syracuse branch manager

SWBR Architects has named Gavin Snyder as its new Syracuse branch manager. As a member of the SWBR team, Snyder is responsible for management of the office, maintaining client relationships, design and project management. Additionally, he handles business development, management of personnel, assisting with proposals as well as marketing. "We are delighted to welcome Gavin to the team and to have someone of his caliber join our firm," said David Beinetti, president of SWBR Architects. "As we continue to grow the number of clients we serve as well as expand our services, we are confident that Gavin's experience and skills will provide leadership and vision to our company." Prior to SWBR, Snyder founded and managed a full service, award-winning and published architecture firm, Snyder Design Group, in Sept. 2000. He grew the company to a peak of 14 with a professional staff of eight registered architects by 2006 and expanded to four offices in major markets. He completed projects in 25 states and seven foreign countries such as Dubai and the Bahamas. He has designed and consulted for Fortune 500 corporations and international corporate leaders with residential clients including stars and professional athletes. He has consulted for American Airlines, USAirways for the Buffalo International Airport expansion, the Monroe County Jail and Public Safety Building Expansion proposal and concepts with modeling for the city of Rochester, The Blue Cross Arena consultations for the city of Rochester, Corporate Wings headquarters at Rochester and Pittsburg International Airports. Snyder's residential projects have appeared on CNBC "High Net Worth," MTV, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Weekly and Homes of the Celebrity Rich and Famous. His commercial and residential projects have been selected for ten magazine covers including Orlando Leisure, Timeshare Developer, Florida Design Magazine, Homebuyer Magazines and Oceanfront Living. Additionally Snyder has been featured in three regional business journals including the Central NY Business Journal and the Rochester Business Journal as well as Orlando Business Journal for his design and/or construction management credit on six projects feature published in Florida Design Magazine, Residential Architecture, Architectural Digest and Sports Illustrated. Snyder is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Construction Specifications Institute. He has been an active USGBC member since 2005 and is preparing for his LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) AP Exam. Snyder received his CIDA Accredited Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture from the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Imaging, Arts and Science where he had dual concentrations in History of Architecture and Fine Art History.
