Rochester, NY On Thursday, December 4th, chapter 58 of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) held their annual "Toys for Tots" luncheon. Each attendee brought a new gift to donate to the U.S. Marine Corp.'s Toys for Tots program. Sgt. Dutcher of the USMC was our special guest. In 2008, the campaign raised over 32,000 toys for 5,331 children in the area. In addition over 300 presents were delivered to children in hospitals during the holidays. The chapter also installed two people with professional designations:
* Laurie Hill of Rochester Management received her Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation.
* Sandra Conrad of Ithaca Housing Services was presented with her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
The CPM and ARM designations are earned by real estate managers who have met the institute's requirements in the areas of professional education and experience and who pledge to abide by a rigorous code of professional ethics that is strictly enforced by IREM.
