On Wednesday, September 10, Professional Women in Construction (PWC-NY) presented a Transportation Forum to explore the various ways the region's "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" are coping with skyrocketing fuel costs, stalled budgets, security threats and other national issues impacting the regional area's systems. The discussion took place from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Yale Club in New York City.
The program, moderated by William Fife, senior consultant, DMJM Harris AECOM, featured guest speakers: Astrid Glynn, commissioner, NYS Department of Transportation; Susan Bass Levin, deputy executive director, Port Authority of N.Y. & N.J.; Michael Horodniceanu, president capital construction, MTA; Richard Smyth, vice president redevelopment, JetBlue; and Diane Crean executive manager, FAA.
