Conway of Conley Assoc. wins award from ASID

Karen Conway, design assistant with Albany-based commercial real estate firm Conley Associates, recently won the Student Best in Competition Honorable Mention Award for ASID's (American Society of Interior Designers) annual Best of Competition. The interior design contest consisted of entries throughout the Upstate New York /Canada East region. Conway's "Sustainable Residential Renovation" design was chosen among the hundreds of submissions. The judges stated it was a "Nice presentation and awareness of environmental issues" and a "Consistent design solution." Karen recently graduated top of her class from Sage College of Albany. The NYU/CE Chapter of ASID includes all of New York State (with the exception of Westchester County and New York City). It also includes the provinces of Ontario and Quebec in Canada, and is the only international chapter of ASID. There are eight principal areas in the chapter - Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and Southern Tier in the United States, and Toronto, Kingston/Ottawa, and Montreal in Ontario and Quebec.
