New York, NY A groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction for the Red Hook Community Justice Center, a $5.3 million rehabilitation of the 26,000 s/f former parochial school at 88-94 Visitation Place in Red Hook, Brooklyn was held recently. Among those in attendance were mayor Giuliani; cheif judge Judith Kaye; Brooklyn district attorney Charles Hynes and other federal, state and local dignitaries. York Hunter will serve as the construction manager for the project, which is expected to take 12 months.
