NEDA to hold first Networking Seminar on Sustainable Building on March 13

Pittsburgh, PA NEDA chose the city, and its David L. Lawrence Convention Center, for their first Networking Seminar on Sustainable Building, (Thursday, March 13), for good reason.

First, the Lawrence Center itself happens to be the largest certified "green building" in the world! And, the city is the home to world-class experts in the field including Stephen Lee, AIA, of Carnegie Mellon University, and Gary Paul Saulson, director of Corporate Real Estate for PNC Financial Services.

Saulson has led PNC in developing more "green" corporate space than other company in the world.

As always, this "Networking Seminar" blends over two hours of solid information with a catered networking reception overlooking the city's renowned cityscape.

NEDA was formed in 1956 to promote economic and industrial development in the Northeastern region of the U.S. The association encourages an informal exchange of ideas and serves as a medium by which its members can benefit from the experiences of other professionals.

The members of NEDA represent a variety of disciplines including economic development, banking, real estate brokerage, law, engineering and environmental consulting. It is this diversity that makes the organization unique in its ability to provide members with relevant information on current issues of concern and importance that lead to the promotion of investment and the resultant creation of employment opportunities.

In addition to distributing a quarterly newsletter entitled "ShopTalk," the organization holds an annual conference, and conducts educational courses and seminars on topics of interest to its membership. The organization also monitors federal legislation.
